The Ocean Awards 2026 - call for nominations

The search for the world’s most impactful marine contributions has officially begun. The Ocean Awards 2026 is now accepting nominations to celebrate the individuals, communities, and innovators dedicated to putting our oceans at the forefront of research, conservation and innovation.

Held in partnership with Nekton and in association with BOAT International and Kensington Yachts, this prestigious platform recognizes the individuals, communities, and visionaries making a measurable impact on ocean health and sustainable resource management. This year, the awards will celebrate achievements across five distinct categories: Community Impact, Young Initiative, Innovation, Science Impact, and Ocean Literacy.

Beyond the award, The Ocean Awards offer a global platform. The winners will gain in-depth exposure and direct connections to industry leaders and passionate advocates.

Dates & Eligibility

To ensure your project (or one you admire) is eligible, please keep in mind that the nominated project must have been completed between 1 January and 31 December 2025.
